Leslie Kenneth Price: Garden Conversation
Juror of Expressions West 2016, Leslie Kenneth Price is known for abstract and elegant paintings inspired by nature, Zen Buddhism and jazz music. A professor at Humboldt State University for 30 years, Price received his MFA from Mills College in Oakland and his BFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. “My aim is to make a painting that is dynamic and meditative simultaneously, which is similar to my experience of the source material.”
