Coos Art Museum will feature a bookbinding workshop on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Join instructor Mary Humphrey in creating a sturdy, portable watercolor journal. Using watercolor paper and a leather cover, participants will create a journal that can be used for sketching, reflection, color and composition ideas, or filled with plein air studies and travels.
Mary Humphrey has a B.F.A from the University of Oregon and over 30 years of experience in bookbinding, paper art, weaving and a multitude of other art and craft genres.
This workshop is open to teens and adults. Participants of all skill levels are welcome. Space is limited to a maximum of 8 participants. The fee is $75 for CAM members / $90 non-members. Aside from a few tools required of students, all other materials are included in the fee. Registration ends October 29, 2015.
