Visiting Portland artist, Susan Kuznitsky, will be hosting a 2 day workshops in pastels. Each day will have new techniques and demonstrations, but will, also, stand alone as a day class. Please contact Valerie Flynn, Director of Art Education, at email@example.com, for information on single day class registration. Whatever skill level you are at when you start this workshop, will have you reaching the next level by its end. Susan will demonstrate different approaches to doing an underpainting on UART sanded paper. With a strong underpainting, you will learn how to layer hard and soft pastels to create strong, vibrant paintings.
