Visiting Portland artist, Susan Kuznitsky, will be hosting a full weekend of workshops in pastels. You can participate in one, two or all three days. Each day will have new techniques and demonstrations, but will, also, stand alone as a day class. Whatever skill level you are at when you start this workshop, will have you reaching the next level by its end. Susan will demonstrate different approaches to doing an underpainting on UART sanded paper. With a strong underpainting, you will learn how to layer hard and soft pastels to create strong, vibrant paintings.
