Coos Art Museum

We will look at Mary Cassatt’s paintings that depict ordinary mother and child scenes. We will then talk about the little expressions and daily, mundane events that when we stop to think about it, are true expressions of love and deserve to be immortalized by art. Kids will then contemplate an everyday happening between them and their own mother that they can depict with pastels onto a black surface.

This class is limited to 12 participants ages 7-12.

The cost of the 2 hour class is $3 CAM member/$6 non members. All other materials will be provided.

Class will take place upstairs in the Coos Art Museum classroom.
