Fish and Timber, Sketch and Press–Four classes at Four locations.
Fish Printing Class at Coos History Museum–December 3rd, 1-4pm
The Coos History Museum with the help of Charleston Marine Life Center, will be hosting an introduction to the historical art of Gyotaku, the Japanese art of making fish prints. This class is for adults and mature teens. Class size limited to 12. Registration ends December 1st.
Tree Ring Printing Class at South Slough Reserve–January 27th, 1-4pm
At the South Slough Reserve, we will continue our printing adventure with tree rings. We will help you talk about your print, presenting on what these rings can tell you about the history of that tree’s life. This class is for adults and mature teens. Class size limited to 12. Registration ends January 22, 2018.
Sketching Ocean Creatures at Charleston Marine Life Center–February 4th, 1-4pm
Visit the Charleston Marine Life Center during it’s off hours to have access to drawing these creatures from life. Learn what to observe and the anatomy of these creatures, all the while receiving guidance on drawing techniques to bring the creatures to life in your drawing. This class is for adults and mature teens. Class size limited to 12. Registration ends February 1st, 2018.
Etching and Pressing at the Coos Art Museum–February 10th, 1-4pm
Join printmaker, Pat Snyder, at the Coos Art Museum to turn your ocean creature drawing into a print. Pat will teach you the etching and printing process as you transform your drawing into a print. This class is for adults and mature teens. Class size limited to 12. Registration ends February 1, 2018.
Each of these classes will cost $35 and all supplies are provided.

Once payment has been received your booking will be approved by our administrators after which time you will receive a "Booking Confirmed" email guaranteeing your space.
