Figure Studies and the Human Form

For most artists, an important part of their training is life drawing. The aim is to guide the artists to use their hands, eyes and intellect while simultaneously creating an image based on a live model. Representing the human form is one of the oldest subjects, dating back to the Paleolithic Period, of which art of any media is based.
