Abstract Art

An abstract work of art can be defined as one that is nonobjective or does not represent an image existing in nature. This style of rendering an image is meant to convey forms that are unrecognizable to the human eye. As a result, works are extremely subjective and open to individual interpretation. The abstract approach is used in almost every medium and is one of the most influential styles in Western Art.
